Hirsch Grinfeld was born in Wysoka Litowsk, Poland in 1880 to Moshe. He was a merchant and married to Menukha. Prior to WWII he lived in Wysoka Litowsk, Poland. During the war was in Treblinka. Hirsch perished in Treblinka.

This information is based on a Page of Testimony (displayed to the left) submitted by Khava Gelis, a Shoah survivor.

The family of the late Khava GELIS was located in Israel in 2005 but they could offer no explanation of why their matriarch reported the death of a Grynfeld. Some evidence exists that Khava GEVIS was a member of the POLAKEVITZ family, linked to a Wysokie Litewskie GRYNFELD by marriage.
