A similar mass execution of innocent civilians was perpetrated by the Germans on 22 May 1942 near the village of Ogorodniki, at a sand pit located 150 meters from this village of farmers.

The above number includes 70 persons of the Jewish population of Vysokoye brought by truck from the town to be shot.
In addition, in this location at other times, 78 people from different localities were executed.
