Wysokie Litewskie Dorothy gives us a basic description of her home village, Wysoke Litewskie. Divided into Polish and Jewish sections, the Jewish section consisting of several unpaved streets, where Jews lived their lives.
In Dorothy's eyes the Jewish women were the doers of the community, while men studied.
