The Yiddish translates to: Dearest, Don’t forget. This is me your unforgettable Tzipe. For you, Yankl, 3.X.1940.

According to Ziva Kessler: After the war Yankl looked for Tzipe but did not find her. He said that she probably perished in the Holocaust.

Notes: The fence shown in the photo does not appear in any other known photo of Wysokie. The flatness of the site suggests a location outside of the town.
