Grandma and Her First Grandchild: Me
I was the first child in the family and above all the first grandchild!

Everybody doted on me I became their living doll! Grandma came to see us several times a week, always bringing cooked food and goodies. For the Sabbath weekend she'd bring chicken soup, boiled chicken, a noodle kugel, and a potato-carrot-prune mixture (zimes) which I liked best. She would try to feed me but I didn't like soup, so whenever the bowl was near me I promptly dashed it to the ground. Grandma would cut the chicken into tiny bits and when they were too hot, she would take them into her mouth to cool them off and then force them into my mouth.
