Notes: The title in Hebrew: צמח לאברהם. It was common for Jewish religious books to contain endorsements (i.e., recommendations) of established religious authorities in the introductory material. The endorsement in this case was substantial. The mention of a Vysoki Yeshiva --using the Aramaic word, metivta-- is unmistakeable and unique. |
