Abraham Visoker's School Composition
A composition titled The Journey to the Castle of Antipatrus, published in two parts in Hamelitz (Number 242 and 246, 6.11.1902 and 10.11.1902) offers a glimpse of Abraham Visoker as a young student:
The footnote
tells us this letter was written – as the faithful teacher testifies – by a 14 years youth, without any corrections of his teacher. This is the fruit of teaching Hebrew in Hebrew.
This composition is written in a rich almost Biblical, beautiful Hebrew. The composition is long and printed in two parts, the second one, on the 10th of November (No.246)
As seen here, Abraham reported the accidental death of his uncle, Isaac-Yakov, in 12.2.1903, signing his name with the notation, nephew of the deceased.
